Salary: Full time (4-6 months, with possibility of extension)

Organizational Context and Position:
Established in 2004, MEET (Middle East Education through Technology) is an educational excellence NGO that harnesses the power of technology and business to create an active network of young Palestinian and Israeli leaders who share a common professional language and capacity for joint action. In partnership with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), MEET delivers an intensive, three-year technology, business education, and leadership program that provides the tools and opportunities necessary to impact economic, social, and political change across the region.

MEET runs an intensive three year program for high school students, followed by an active alumni network. The student program comprises a five week intensive summer program at the Hebrew University and daily Lab sessions at the MEET hub in Jerusalem. Having operated in the Jerusalem area for seven years, MEET is expanding the program and is now opening a second hub in Nazareth.

The program manager position is a leadership role that demands a high-level of managerial discipline, entrepreneurial spirit, and accountability to outcomes. The Program Manager supervises all staff hired for the yearlong and summer programs and is responsible for ensuring that the goals and objectives of these programs are achieved.

Job Description Brief:
• Oversee all aspects of the planning and implementation of the MEET summer and yearlong programs.
• Implement MEET’s dynamic curriculum
• Oversee the daily operations of the lab and program facility
• Identify, hire and train program staff and hold them accountable to specific deliverables
• Oversee implementation and quality of program assessment and evaluation
• Manage program expenditures against allocated funds and build contingency plans for unexpected events or funding shortfalls
• Identify and seek relationships with external stakeholders for project mentoring and educational partnerships
• Assist the Development Director in developing external facing program reports for donors

Qualifications:
• BA (required), MA (a plus)
• Management experience in leading both volunteers and staff
• Experience in educational programs and work with youth
• Fluency in English required, fluency in Arabic and Hebrew preferred
• Very strong oral, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Self-driven, organized, and passionate about making an impact!
